We invite everyone sharing these demands despite all the violence and oppressionn to meet in Gezi Park at 15:00.

And the people made their decision: Gezi Park will remain a park and every word that comes out the “Prime Minister’s” mouth will not be a “law” any more.
All our screams struggling for the remaining last park where we can still step on soil have been multiplied all over İstanbul, and in all parts of Turkey.
The violence applied by the government did not decrease our anger but made the civil insurrection bigger.
And now we are not going back home before we get what’s ours and the violence we have been subjected to has been addressed and accounted for in full.

This is our call as unions, labor organizations, professional associations, democratic mass organizations and all of civil society, political organizations and parties, artists, intellectuals and various initiatives: All kinds of brutal violence against the public who are out on the streets to present their democratic demands, beginning with Taksim, İstanbul and all parts of Turkey must be stopped. Every last person must be released from custody, everyone responsible for this violence must resign, beginning with Security General Director and the Governor.The unlawful siege of Taksim Gezi Park must be lifted, Topçu Kışlası Project must be cancelled, it must be declared that Gezi Parkı will be kept as park without touching even one tree –no matter what the reason is- and the park must be opened to public immediately.
